Courtney
OWNER / MASTER STYLIST
As the visionary behind our salon, Courtney infuses creativity and passion into every aspect of her work. With a career dedicated to hairdressing, she's renowned for her expertise in lived-in color and her signature bouncy blowouts. Her vibrant personality is as diverse as her music playlist, which swings from rap to reggae to country, keeping the salon atmosphere fresh and fun. Outside of work, you'll find her sipping on Diet Coke, cheering on her favorite sports teams, or spending quality time with her beloved Newfoundland dog and husband. Her ability to connect with clients and her knack for making every style uniquely beautiful are what set her apart.
The Story Behind The Mayor
The Mayor you ask? It all started in 1973 when my grandfather, Barry Fry opened his used car lot. From that day forward he would forever be known as (self proclaimed) The Mayor of Sanatoga.
If you needed to borrow money, borrow a car, negotiate to buy that car, have a wingman, get your daughter’s boyfriend beat up, go see a Penn State football game - you’d call The Mayor and there he’d be.
As sure as College football on a Saturday, we would sit and chat and dream about my future and what my salon would look like someday. All awhile his best friends coming and going just to chat with The Mayor and hear one of his one liners. I watched from a very young age a Tony Soprano type hero. Didn’t take crap from anyone, and loved his family endlessly.
So when it came time for my dream to become reality, The Mayor was the only option. He left us in 2019 and all of this wouldn’t be possible without him. Still today I can feel his belief in me, and I hope to bring the joy to you that he brought everyone every time they set foot in his business.
Crystal
MASTER STYLIST
With over 25 years of experience in the hair industry, Crystal is a seasoned stylist known for her expert haircutting and keen eye for detail. Her passion for hair care is matched only by her commitment to her clients' well-being, as she is also Reiki certified, bringing a holistic approach to her work. When she's not creating stunning hairstyles, Crystal loves listening to country music, doing arts and crafts with her daughter, cheering on her son at his baseball games, and is an avid supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies. Her dedication to both her craft and her family makes her a cherished member of our team.
Lana
MASTER STYLIST
Lana brings a vibrant and eclectic energy to our team. With a deep love for painting, Lana channels creativity into everything she does, often drawing inspiration from the rich colors and bold styles of vintage fashion. All of which seamlessly transition into her craft of perfecting fashion colors, short haircuts, taming thick curly hair and beautiful blondes. A true old soul, she is an avid fan of 80s music and the timeless charm of Dean Martin. When not immersed in a puzzle or enjoying a good ghost story, you’ll likely find her exploring thrift stores for unique treasures. Halloween is her favorite holiday, (and also her birthday!) where her passion for the spooky and vintage truly comes to life.
Erin
MASTER STYLIST
With over 25 years of experience, Erin has honed her craft as a hairdresser and spent the last 19 years specializing in hair extensions. Her passion for creating beautiful, natural looks keeps her clients coming back. When she’s not in the salon, Erin loves soaking up the sun at the beach during the summer and tackling puzzles by the fire in the winter. A red wine enthusiast, she enjoys life’s little indulgences and brings that same joy and warmth to her work with every client she meets.
Jenn
IN-HOUSE ESTHETICIAN, EYELASH EXTENSION MASTER
Jenn brings a nurturing touch to her work as an aesthetician, a skill undoubtedly influenced by her background in early childhood education—a degree she holds but has chosen not to pursue professionally. Instead, she dedicates her care and attention to her clients and her ever-growing menagerie of animals. Whether tending to a client's skincare needs, doing a full fluffy volume lash set, or caring for her own personal zoo, Jenn is driven by a deep love for all living things. When she's not pampering her clients or her pets, she enjoys unwinding with a good book—especially those that delve into the sultry world of fairies and alternate worlds.
Julia
SALON MANAGER
Julia is the friendly face and voice you hear onthe phone that keeps our salon running smoothly. With a love for Nespresso coffee that fuels her day, she brings energy and efficiency to every task. When she's not expertly managing the salon, Jules enjoys immersing herself in the world of true crime and kicking back to the sounds of country music, especially her favorite artist, Luke Combs. Her blend of organizational skills and warm personality makes her an indispensable part of our team.
